"DOOM Eternal" is a first-person shooter (FPS) game developed by id Software, and it is the sequel to the 2016 reboot of "DOOM."

Game Details:

DOOM Eternal pushes the series' "push-forward combat" concept to the extreme. The game is no longer just traditional shooting, but a high-speed and strategic resource management game. Players must use the various tools on the Doom Slayer's advanced Praetor Suit to survive.

Game Guide:

The key to survival in DOOM Eternal lies in mastering the "resource trinity" - the combat cycle management of health, armor, and ammo. Shooting alone is far from enough; you need to be extremely aggressive and proactively acquire survival resources from demons.

1. Glory Kills: Source of Health

  • When demons are damaged to a certain extent, they will flash blue (staggered state), and you can perform a Glory Kill by melee attacking them.
  • Key: Glory Kills are the main way to regain health. When your health is low, don't hesitate to perform Glory Kills on low-level demons. Always leave one or two low-level enemies alive as "health packs" for emergencies.
  • Tip: Many elite monsters will also enter a staggered state after specific body parts are destroyed, such as the arm cannon of the Arachnotron.

2. Flame Belch/Flame Thrower: Source of Armor

  • The Flame Thrower can ignite enemies. Enemies that are ignited will drop armor shards for a short period of time.
  • Key: Use the Flame Thrower on a cluster of demons at the beginning of each battle or when your armor is running low. Even a single spray can provide you with continuous armor replenishment within a short time after killing them.
  • Utilize: Use it as soon as the cooldown is over. This is your guarantee to keep your armor at a high level during combat.

3. Chainsaw: Source of Ammo

  • The Chainsaw can instantly kill any non-Boss demons and drop a large amount of ammo.
  • Key: The Chainsaw has fuel limits, and the fuel will slowly regenerate automatically. Don't use the Chainsaw to cut low-level enemies unless you are truly out of ammo. The main targets should be mid- to high-level demons to ensure that your ammo can be quickly refilled, especially for scarce heavy weapon ammo.
  • Principle: Never let the Chainsaw run out of fuel. Before entering a new combat area, make sure the Chainsaw has enough fuel for one kill.

4. Weapon Switching and Demon Weaknesses:

  • Learning "weapon quick-switch" can allow you to deal high burst damage instantly. For example, immediately switch to the Super Shotgun's "Meat Hook" after firing the Ballista and follow up with a close-range blast.
  • Attacking demons' weaknesses, such as the Mancubus' arm cannon, the Pain Elemental's eyes, etc., can put them into a staggered state, greatly simplifying the difficulty of the battle.
